Giving
ARK keeps overheads to a minimum through recruiting volunteers and sharing resources with other organisations, however, we still need to raise funds to provide an effective service. ARK currently costs £30,000 a year to run and we are totally reliant on charitable donations.
Your donations help us to help those in our community. We do not receive any funding from local or national authorities so every penny you donate goes towards helping others. Thank you
Delivering Kindness to our community

ARK Eastleigh mobilises volunteers to help and support people in our Community
Volunteers are what help make a difference
ARK Eastleigh's volunteers show kindness in practical ways, supporting around 80 plus people that live in our local community. We aim to support and enable those who are experiencing difficulties through practical help and one-to-one support.

Julie
Senior Team Leader
I have worked in Pastoral Care in the church for many years and love seeing people empowered to be all that they can be. We often undervalue small acts of kindness, but they are the things that make a difference. I am excited to work with ARK in seeing Eastleigh loved and cared for. I am married to Jeremy, we have three adult children and for many years I cared for our disabled daughter. I am a member of Thrive Church.
Meet the Trustees of Ark Eastleigh
The trustees are responsible for the policies, procedures, and oversight of the activities of ARK, ensuring that ARK is operating in a safe, ethical and sustainable way and that our activities continue to meet our overriding charitable objectives.

Jeremy
Trustee - Treasurer
I am an operations manager for a local charity in Southampton and I have a number of years of experience as a charity. I live in Bishopstoke with my wife Julie; we have three adult children. I am also involved with Eastleigh Basics Bank, providing food and other basics to those who need it in the Eastleigh borough.
I believe the church has a responsibility to support and encourage the local community, and ARK is an excellent example of local Christians from a number of churches coming together to provide support and kindness to people in our community who need it. It is a privilege to be a part of ARK both as treasurer and as a volunteer.

Chris
Trustee -Secretary
I am a retired IT Consultant, married to Sue, and live in central Eastleigh. I am an active member of a twelve-step fellowship and passionately believe that recovery from addictions is possible by the grace and power of God. I am committed to the principles of ARK Eastleigh, whose work I believe is vital to the community, and as Secretary to the Trustees, I can utilise my admin skills for maximum benefit.

Hannah
Trustee - Advisor
I work as an operations director for a local homelessness charity, working in this sector since 2005. I have been on the board of a number of charities and it is my passion to see people helped and cared for. The local community is really important to me. I am a returning Trustee as I was part of the original team that formed the charity. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
